Aspirations

Plants are the first to coexist with humanity as life took different shapes and forms. They inspire people to aim at reaching the skies in their endeavors through display of their own aspirations. Grape vine shoot on the side is an exemplary demonstration of such an aspiration.

For this reason, humans have from ancient to the modern times have been seeking them to be close by to make the environment pure and pleasing. Paradise whose modern meaning is a divine place is indeed the original word for a park for humans to play, with greenery all around. This itself proves that plants add divinity to a place.

Persons of all ages from children to the veterans like company of plants and trees and try to develop gardens close to their homes to enjoy freshness of environment developed by plants. Many plant varieties even without colorful flowers on them look beautiful spreading their green hues in the atmosphere very pleasing to the eyes of the beholders.

Ready-made Foods - the Fruits

Many plants and trees provide ready-made foods to humans and animals in the form of their fruits, and these are the first of the foods humans enjoyed and survived on even before the human civilization had not taken a leap forward. Here are two most common fruits.

Banana

The most versatile fruit Banana is a Nature's precious gift to humanity as it provides much desired minerals - Magnesium, Sodium, Copper, Manganese, Zinc, Iron, etc. to the body. It is also rich in Carbohydrates, energy and vitamin C with a moisture content of above 70% when fully ripe. Its botanical name is Musa paradisiaca and is very much recommended even to young babies.

Papaya

Another delicious fruit found in most of the world zones and climates develops on a tree-shaped plant having a short lifespan of maximum 3 years when it keeps on growing taller and producing fruits almost round the year.

This fruit is rich in Potassium, Phosphorus and Sulfur and a good source of Carotene and vitamin C. Its moisture content in ripe condition is above 90 percent and it being easily digestible is highly recommended to patients for its energy content. In many countries, even raw Papaya is eaten as a vegetable and for making pickle through soaking in vinegar. Its botanical name is Carcia papaya.

The World of Colors

Humans, for the first time, had the look, idea and knowledge of colors from the naturally grown flowers on plants and trees in their respective vicinity, thus giving rise to the fantastic world of colors humanity has been and would be enjoying for ever.

The Jasmines

Beauty of flowers enchants one and all not only with attractive colors but with pleasing fragrances too. The role of a flower is to attract some pollinating media for the procreation process of the plant to begin with after which it fades away through drying leading to formation of fruits of the plant which often contain seeds of the plant for maintaining continuity of plant's existence on earth.

On the side are two views of Jasmine flowers and down below are flowering Kamini (another Jasmine species), and crimson red sweet tasting Gudhal plant. Out of these, only the Kamini flowers produce fruits. Jasmines are found in a large number of varieties..

The Leafless Beauties

Some plants blossom when all their leaves are shed away and there are flowers all over the plants.

One such plant is of Peaches (Botanical name Amygdalis persica) which bears fruits having a hard nut of almond shape. Indian Almonds tree is developed on root of Peaches. All-time super-food Almonds and Peaches belong to the same genus of Amygdalis.

At the bottom is a very attractive tree of Amaltas which gets flooded with yellow flowers all over after all its leaves are shed away.

Happier Pathways

Greenery along a pathway makes a pleasant impression on the walkers whether they are in a garden or a busy road. Here is such a pathway in a garden and the close-up view of the greenery which is even more pleasing to the eyes.

The Happiest Flowering Plant

Murgkeshi may be considered a weed plant as it survives even in the worst conditions, and provides velvet feel flowers on each of its branch end. Its fine black seeds are eaten by birds, and those scattered around grow in the next winter beginning on their own.
